Who are the Capytistas?

We are an underground grassroots intelligence agency and strategy hub working to create radical accountability for the Oligarch class. Assembled in early 2025 in response to the cruel and murderous cuts made by Elon Musk’s Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE), our group began exploiting human infiltration, open source intelligence methods, and traditional investigative tradecraft to identify then map the inner workings of the network of oligarchs who seek to dismantle our democracy, disenfranchise voters, capture governmental and regulatory bodies, and leverage their businesses and technologies to divide our communities.

Our group is a non-partisan, international collective of anti-fascists, activists, former intelligence workers, investigators, journalists, technologists, and artists. We do not exist to build power, but rather share information and tools that can inspire individuals to action and assist existing movements in their efforts to actualize global justice and liberation.

Democracy is not dying, it’s being killed, and those who are killing it have names and addresses.

The Problem: Oligarchic Capture

In 2026, the top 0.001% of oligarchs now hold three times as much wealth as the bottom half of the global population.

In 2025, their capture of US institutions like USAID has already directly resulted in the deaths of 780,000+ in Africa and Southeast Asia, most of those being children.

Through this capture, they’ve also set themselves up to continuously increase their wealth from expanded US government contracts. They set up a “choke point” at the General Services Administration (GSA), gained access to Treasury payment systems, and stole the private data of millions of Americans.

They’ve robbed and hoarded the world’s wealth, power, and chance at a future for only themselves. That’s where we come in.

The Solution: A Forced Reckoning

Oligarchs operate through secrecy and obfuscation. To create accountability for a class that never faces consequences, we start with robust investigations and OSINT research—flipping over rocks to shine light on the byzantine financial operations that undergird their companies and wealth. Then, we connect the dots, mapping out the links between institutional investments, market makers, creditors and liquidity providers, supply chains, and the individuals at the top surrounding our oligarch targets: board members, governance, etc.

But we don’t stop there. We also find the address of every hidden property they own, their secret club memberships, the cafes they frequent in their morning routine. Their companies create and profit from a panopticon state designed to rob us of privacy. We’re just giving them a taste of their own medicine…

Courage is contagious. Our exposure pulls them out of the shadows and into the public square, where they can be better held accountable in whichever way the masses deem fit. Elon Musk is the first target we’re taking on, and we’ve got growing case files for many others in line behind him.

The Strategy: Proven Activism Models

By focusing on the affiliated secondary and tertiary targets, our efforts seek to generate pressure on our primary targets exerted by those closest to them.

This methodology follows the lead of successful past pressure campaigns like the South African Anti-Apartheid Movement, the 1990’s AIDS advocacy campaigns of ACT UP San Francisco, the early 2000’s campaigns of Stop Huntingdon Animal Cruelty (SHAC), and the Coalition of Immokalee Workers “Fair Food” Campaign.

The goal  of this effort is not to create a new organization, but rather serve as both an educational campaign and a clearinghouse that provides resources and tools to existing movements. Our exclusive research findings will also be bundled with toolkits and shared with media outlets and/or movement partners for maximum impact.

Anyone who utilizes the information in our publications to organize direct action and civil disobedience is free to consider themselves a Capytista as long as the actions they take are in alignment with the Capytista Guidelines outlined here. Whatever you choose to do to help us in our existential fight, always remember to lead with love. This is a mission to provide the world with a better future, not exact revenge on those currently ruining in.
