Futronic's critical support for Tesla

Initially founded in 1993 in Busan, South Korea, Futronic Co., Ltd. is a technology company specializing in the intersection of electronics and mechanical engineering as manufacturers of high-precision parts for electric vehicle transmissions and powertrain systems. Their products include electromechanical actuators that help manage power distribution and drivetrain efficiency as well as electronic sensors.

Futronic has recently expanded operations with a manufacturing facility in Buda, Texas, just down the road from Tesla’s “Giga Texas” facility, which they supply with various actuators, sensors, and controllers.  This logistical move positions them as a critical part of Tesla’s “just-in-time” supply chain.
