Magna's critical support for Tesla

Canada’s Magna International Inc. is one of the world's largest and most diversified automotive suppliers. Unlike many parts manufacturers, Magna operates as a unique "contract manufacturer" capable of engineering, developing, and assembling complete vehicles for other automakers.

Magna was most notably the contract manufacturer for the first-generation Tesla Model S body and chassis at its facility in Graz, Austria, during Tesla's early production phase. Today, Magna supplies Tesla with critical components and systems, such as battery enclosures and various structural parts, across multiple models.
