Though not a direct automotive supplier to Tesla, Outokumpu’s high-quality, sustainable stainless steel is an upstream material sourced by Tesla's parts suppliers. Specifically, Outokumpu's steel could be used by manufacturers producing exhaust components for Tesla's factory equipment, material handling systems, or potentially even in the construction of Tesla's own Gigafactories and charging infrastructure.
